About Us

Our Mission, here at Dancin' in Acton, is to provide a
wide variety of dance classes for dance aficionados of all ages and abilities
in a positive and family friendly environment.

Dancin' in Acton is proud to offer jazz, ballet, pointe, tap, hip-hop, lyrical, mom & me, and modern dance instruction. We provide the opportunity to begin learning dance at any age and to pursue growth in dance. Our friendly staff is delighted to work with individuals seeking a recreation experience. For the dancer who desires to challenge themselves by developing advanced skills our professional instructors offer students ever-greater challenges.

As soon as a youngster begins to walk, he/she can start a class here at Dancin' in Acton. We have mom and me classes where a mother can introduce her child to dance with her own guidance and enthusiasm. Our emphasis in mom and me classes is to explore and have FUN.

For the growing dancer we have tap/ballet combo classes where the 3-8 year old can learn ballet and offset the rigors of ballet training with our upbeat tap class. The combo class is an opportunity to try two styles of dance within one class. We also offer beginning classes in jazz & hip-hop for growing dancers.

For the dancer who desires a highly challenging dance experience, Dancin' in Acton offers advanced classes in jazz, ballet, pointe, turns, hip hop, lyrical and modern dance. Dancin' in Acton also provides an opportunity to audition for and become a member of, its competitive dance team. Under the direction of Cindy Jundy for the past 20 years, our dance team has been highly awarded at many prestigious dance competitions. The dance team puts in many hours creating/rehearsing their competition dances and traveling/participating in regional and national competitions.

Dancin' in Acton is well known in the Santa Clarita Valley and Antelope Valley for the high caliber recital that we produce annually. Our students have the rare opportunity to showcase their talents at the beautiful Lancaster Performing Arts Center. The Lancaster Performing Arts Center is a professional venue and gives a professional level dance experience to dancer and dance families, creating joyous memories for all.
