In addition, she has brought a high level of dance training to the Antelope Valley. Ms. Burnett studied dance at Virginia Intermont College and performed with the Bristol Ballet Company. She continued to train with famous choreographers and graduated magna cum laude with a BA in dance. She then earned her MFA at the University of Oklahoma, where she taught and eventually became an Assistant Professor of Ballet. Ms. Burnett moved to Los Angeles in 1996 and toured with the Tremaine Dance Convention. She is currently teaching at Antelope Valley College, Extensions, Dance Magic, and of course, Dancin’ in Acton.

Cindy Littlefield-Jundy is the director of dance at Antelope Valley College and became artistic director of Dance Dimensions in 2002. She also founded AVC’s first dance company, AVC Dance Ensemble as well as the dance department’s bi-annual Dance Showings. This year she initiated an inter-department collaboration between AVC’s theater and dance departments which resulted in the production of The Dragon Wakes. Ms. Littlefield-Jundy received a BFA degree from California Institute of the Arts and has danced for the Antelope Valley Ballet and Rock Songs and Dances. While directing the Dancin’ in Acton Performance Team, she attends dance conventions several times a year to learn the latest dance trends from industry professionals. Ms. Littlefield-Jundy lives in Acton with her husband and two children, and is an active part of the Antelope Valley community.

Theresa Kitts has been dancing since the age of 3. Theresa grew up dancing at her mother’s dance studio where she gained invaluable dance experience as well as office management skills. Her expanded study of dance includes ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, hip-hop, and modern. The teaching specialties Theresa enjoys most are lyrical, jazz, turns and technique, private lessons, and chorus choreography. Theresa’s love for teaching began when she was 16 and she has taught dance ever since. Additionally, she has coached volleyball at Palmdale High School, taught intro to dance at the local elementary schools enrichment programs, and directed the children’s worship team at Hillside Church Rancho Cucamonga. Theresa has taught a variety of ages, from 18 months (mommy and me) through adults. Theresa now has the pleasure of teaching jazz and lyrical every Wednesday at Dancin’ In Acton, as well as being a Stay-at-Home-Mom to her three daughters and loving husband Jim. Theresa strongly believes that dance is a language… a way to express oneself. She dances with these bible verses in her heart, Psalm 149:3 (Praise His name with dancing), Ecclesiastes 3:1-9 (a time for everything: a time to dance), and 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (Honor God with your body).
